The Crimson Collection

The Crimson Collection is mouth-blown, hand painted glasses coming to you all the way from the land of Vampires. Hand crafted by artisans, these glasses take there form outside the hills of Carpathian Mountains in Transylvania, Romania. They are a modern tribute to those whose stories have been retold in historic folklore for centuries, and still thrill and mystify us today: Vampires.

The creation process of the Crimson glasses is an art form that has been passed down thru the generations of the Romanian people. It begins in the oven where the glass takes days to melt (The ovens are never turned off). The artisan collects molten glass in the tip of his blow rod, being careful to collect just the right amount for the piece to be blown. Each piece is then blown to the proper thickness and into the proper shape by mouth. After the Crimson glass takes its signature form, it is then allowed to cool. Then, it moves on to painting stations where the blood drop is painted onto the glass by hand. One last firing before the glasses are ready for packaging insures long-lasting strength, durability and color.

This exquisite glassware is imported from Romania, where the old world craftsman of Romania specialize in creating the highest of quality. Each piece is mouth-blown, and delicately hand decorated. Quality glassware like this is sought after thru out the world. As with all hand crafted creations such as these, there may be slight imperfections which confirm the one of a kind uniqueness of these pieces. However they go thru a rigorous quality control process insuring that only the highest of quality product is imported to the USA.
